About Organisation
Disaster Relive Foundation Nepal (DRF-N) is non profit organization established with aim of contributing to at risk communities of Nepal including persons with disabilities to provide immediate humanitarian support, sustainable Disaster Risk Reduction and Management initiative, and resilient community building through integrated community approach. In Nepal there are many organization working in disaster management and climate change adaptation, however sustainable approach is still missing and most affected one, i.e. persons with disabilities, LGBTIQ communities are not the part of the development and humanitarian assistant process. Therefore, we try to significantly contribute to the all at risk communities towards the complete resilience aligning the Sendai Framework indicator, target of SDGs and Nepal's National DRRM Plan of Action (2018-2030). Similarly, DRF-N aim to strengthen the voice of at risk communities including persons with disabilities and LGBTIQ communities in planning and policy process, more specific on climate action, disaster response and preparedness. DRF-N collaborate effectively with federal, province and local government with technically proving support on disaster risk management. We request donor communities, helping hands and international NGOs to be united with us in the cause of disaster victims and at risk communities.
